Pamela Morris Samuels
Update: Nov. 2008
Went to China for 3 weeks last Fall. Loved every minute and learned so much.
Here is a little update in the grandkid dept. I now have 3 granddaughters, Sophie, Sydney and Ella. They live with my son and daughter-in-law in Eagle, CO. I think they are just the yummiest things alive and I wish I lived closer to watch them grow and say funny things!
I have retired from real estate. Now I am at National Bank of Arizona. Two days a week I work in Commercial Real Estate in a support staff position that is interesting and fun. That leaves 5 days a week to play!
Update: Mar. 20, 2005:
Family. I became a first time grandma to Sophie Grace Webster (my son's child) on January 18th. Holding her in my arms for the first time on February 10th was indescribably delicious! They live in Colorado, so I will be doing more traveling. Picture to follow soon.
Career. I am currently working as a builder representative for Doucette Homes at the Academy Village, a retirement community in SE Tucson. I do site sales three days a week. Perfect schedule, great job. The rest of my days are spent doing the next category down. (Avocations)
Born in Tucson, away for only 15 years, now back for the long haul (summers and all!) I have been fortunate to travel the world from Australia to Europe, Peru, the Phillipines, Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Canada, and most of our states.
FAMILY: Widowed twice, I have been single for 19 years. I have a son living in Eagle, Co. who is a real estate broker and developer of properties and, in January, my first grandchild! He is married to a professional golfer. My beautiful daughter, Stacy, died tragically at 16. My mom is 86, outlived 2 husbands and now has #3!
EDUCATION & CAREER: After graduating from the U of A, I taught school in CA I moved back to Tucson in 1978 and started my own catering company. After my husband's death, I worked in Hospice bereavement and then on to the retirement living industry as a sales and marketing person. I volunteered for many years as a mediator for the City of Tucson with a specialty in Registrar of Contractors'cases and barking dogs! Currently I hold a Realtor's license and do part time real estate, substitute teach, AND work part time at Sunstone Cancer Support Foundation as Ad. Assist. to Ex. Director.
AVOCATIONS: I TRY to stave off the ravages of aging by working out and hiking. Love to read, travel, play Scrabble, go to movies, volunteer in my community in architectural guidelines capacity and historical data, and stay connected with friends.
