JIM FRANNEA

UPDATE FROM JIM - JUNE, 2015:

It seems like yesterday that I wrote the history of my life since CHS, but apparently it has been almost 10 years.

I retired in 2011 after 20 years working as the CEO of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Orange County, CA.  It was difficult to leave such a rewarding career and doing so much to help folks turn their financial lives around.

I am enjoying the good life of retirement with 5 grandchildren, traveling and working in my garden with my lovely wife of almost 17 years, Gisela.

I have been blessed with so many good friends and good health.  I enjoy reading about my classmates on the CHS website or Facebook.

I look forward to the next class reunion or get together in the future.

Love to you all,

Jim

I graduated from the UofA with a degree in Business
Admin. and majored in Real Estate thinking that I
would follow in my fathers footsteps.  Uncle Sam came
to call however, so I spent the next 6 months in the Air
Force in Texas and Biloxi, Ms.
I married Beverly Anderson from Phoenix and a UofA Graduate in August 1964.  We moved to Orange County California in Sept. 1965 and I worked in Finance and Banking and Bev was teaching in a high school. We have two children
Michael 34 and Tarri 30.
I left the banking field and took over the Presidency of Consumer Credit  Counseling Service of Orange County in 1991 where I still work.  I remarried in 1998 to a wonderful Cuban
girl, Gisela and we now have our third grandchild.
Gisela is a semi-retired journalist who spends most
of her time taking care of aging parents and
assisting in a family business.
We love to travel and especially cruise.  I enjoy
sports and am a avid Anaheim Angels and Mighty Ducks
Fan.  I also follow the Wildcats and can't wait to
have a real football team again.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the
50th reunion soon.
