Jerry Chapman Still in Tucson. From Houston, Texas to Portland, Oregon with the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads. The Union Pacific bought Southern Pacific in 1995. The railroad was never the same. All things considered though, it wasn't a bad place to work. FAMILY: I have been divorced since 1987. CAREER: Retired from the railroad in 2001 with 42 years of service. AVOCATIONS: Golf. Try to play at least twice a week. It is an interesting game. There is something special about traveling to Rocky Point and staying for a week or so. I am also working on a '40 Ford 2Dr sedan. So far, all it has been is a garage queen. Only have 18 miles on it. I am sure that there will be more later. |
