Charles Pyeatt
I moved back to Tucson in 1970 after serving a few years in the Army.
FAMILY: I met my wife (Sue) while attending Abilene Christian College and we were married in 1962. We have a daughter, son and 4 grandchildren.
EDUCATION AND CAREER: I attended 3 years of college in Abilene, Texas and then transfered to and graduated from the U of A. After graduation I took a job in El Paso and 3 years later Uncle Sam decided I needed another change. I served as Finance officer with most of my time at Homestead AFB in Florida. After the army I returned to Tucson and started a public accounting firm. I still do a few tax returns during the filing season.
OPINIONS/CONVICTIONS: I have strong religious convictions which I am happy to discuss with anyone interested, but never have had much interest in politics.
AVOCATIONS: I love to hunt and ride horses (mules actually). My wife and I have done a lot of back country packing around the state. We spend a lot of time in the White Mountains during the summer near Springerville.
